We are seeking a highly motivated and ambitious professional for the permanent full-time position of Ag Equipment Sales Representative, who is expected to: consult with producers on ag equipment; develop customer relationships; keep up to date with current market trends, product knowledge and practices; contribute to the overall success of the ag team business plan; and provide exceptional customer service.

The Co-operative Retailing System (CRS) is a unique, multi-billion dollar organization based on the fundamental principles of co-operation. It is comprised of a network of approximately 180 autonomous retail co-operatives across Western Canada along with their branch operations, and Federated Co-operatives Limited (FCL). FCL is the wholesaling and manufacturing arm of the CRS, which provides the retail co-ops with a range of products and services.

Prairie Co-op is looking for a full-time Ag Equipment Sales Representative to join our team at our Cupar Agro Centre. We are seeking a self-motivated, ambitious, and energetic individual who is expected to administer a farm contact program with present and perspective customers, and work both independently and as part of a team. Exceptional communication skills as well as strong knowledge and experience of ag equipment business is essential. 
Duties and Responsibilities:
Come to work with a positive, professional approach and attitude.
Meet sales, margin and inventory targets, and assist in the development of a yearly forecast and marketing plan.
Follow through the Ag Equipment Sales Work Plan.
Develop relationships with existing and new accounts within the established trading area.
Assist with the operations of the Agro Centre. 
Be familiar and adhere to the Prairie Co-op policies and procedures.
Ensure self development is planned, discussed and implemented to improve professional knowledge and skills.
Other duties as assigned.
Excellent knowledge of agricultural business and equipment
Strong sales and customer service skills, previous equipment sales experience is an asset
Excellent interpersonal, organizational, and verbal and written communication skills
Ability to embrace a culture focused on safety, engagement, innovation, and teamwork
Alignment with Prairie Co-op’s values of Excellence, Integrity and Progressive
Valid Canadian driver's license with a clean driving record
Must be legally entitled to work in Canada.
