Schultz elected President/Chair

Brad Schultz of Melville, Sask., was elected President/Chair of the Board of Federated Co-operatives Limited (FCL) on March 5, 2018.

The election took place at the Board’s reorganization meeting held immediately following FCL’s 89th annual meeting. Schultz  represents District 9 and has been on FCL’s Board for four years. He replaces outgoing President/Chair Dusty MacDonald,  who has served as President/Chair since 2014.

At the same reorganization meeting, Doug Potentier of Victoria, B.C., was re-elected as the Vice-Chair of the Board.

Re-elected to the FCL Board at elections held during the annual meeting were: Tara Burke of Wainwright, Alta., Joe Bowhay of Didsbury, Alta., Dusty MacDonald of Saskatoon, Sask., Valerie Pearson of Saskatoon, Sask., and Jocelyn VanKoughnet of Carman, Man., all of whom were elected for three-year terms.
